Laura Tracey, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Laura received her BA in Sport Sciences, Athletic Training from University of the Pacific in 2002. Laura has worked as a Physical Therapy Aide and ATC in outpatient orthopedics for over 10 years at various clinics in the Bay Area. She has recently obtained her Physical Therapist Assistant license in 2016 from Kent State University, Ashtabula, OH. She enjoys working with young athletes, weekend warriors and post-op patients.
Brandon Gardner, PTA
Physical Therapis Assistant | Facility Lead | Marketing Director
Brandon was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and was a very active and promising young athlete, playing baseball in high school and at the collegiate level. His passion for physical therapy started back in his high school days, where he himself was going through the rehabilitation process during a shoulder injury.
Brandon has a strong Movement Science background from San Jose State University and exceptional manual therapy skills that he has acquired during his Physical Therapy Assistant program at Carrington College. He has worked in Outpatient Orthopedics and in Skilled Nursing Facility settings. He has also been able to translate his skills outside of the clinic and has been fortunate enough to work with, train and treat amateur and professional athletes including: football players at the collegiate level and NFL, Major League Baseball players and Olympic Track and Field athletes. As an avid baseball enthusiast, Brandon is also apart of Spine and Sports Physical Therapy’s organization called Pitchers First, where he educates parents, coaches, and trains and treats youth and amateur baseball players, helping to prevent shoulder and elbow injuries.
As a Physical Therapy Assistant and the Facility Lead of Spine and Sports Physical Therapy of Livermore, Brandon constantly works on continuing to expand his skills and enjoys learning new and up to date techniques to bring to the patients he treats. He is always very personable and enjoys the challenge of working with a variety of different patient populations including: orthopedic dysfunctions, post-surgical, athletic injuries, and injuries of the spine and extremities. With everything he does, Brandon strives to provide a high quality, personalized experience for everyone he encounters
Patient Care Lead
Jenya, is our Patient Care Lead of our Livermore office. She graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Business Administration emphasizing in International Business.
Prior to joining the Spine and Sports Physical Therapy team, she spent the past eight years working in retail for an international foot ware company, where through hard work and dedication she worked her way up to the store manager position. There she helped the store grow in volume, received multiple awards for visual and operational excellence, and trained new talent for the district. From her previous work experience, she brings vast knowledge in business management, customer service relations and is multi-lingual, speaking some Spanish and is fluent in Russian. As Patient Care Lead for Spine and Sports Physical Therapy of Livermore, she strives for excellence in both patient experience during their visit and daily office operations.
Physical Therapy Technician
Claudia graduated from Sacramento State University Spring 2017 with a BS in Kinesiology for exercise science. She is hoping to pursue a career as a physical therapist. She loves to see the progress of the patients she works with and takes pleasure in having helped them obtin their goals.
