Steve received his Masters in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Arizona with a degree in Physiology. He completed an additional year of training in the Maitland Concept of Manipulative Physiotherapy. The Maitland Concept is a widely respected and recognized manual therapy approach that uses gentle passive movements in the treatment of pain, in addition to the more forceful techniques used when necessary to increase range of motion. Steve believes that physical conditions are affected by both mental and physical wellness and incorporates this into his practice. He really enjoys working together with his patients in a "team approach, allowing him to help them, help themselves."
Steve was first exposed to physical therapy when he sustained a shoulder injury from playing baseball which later inspired him to become a Physical Therapist. He finds joy in being able to help people return to sports or any other activity they love.
